FORGE
First hands-on site
The site where b(x) first acquired hands-on experience: a budding food forest, chickens, compost, and a biodiesel experiment.
Forge / chicken coop / 2017NODE BRIEF
Forge is where the abstract became material. A food forest was planted here, chickens were raised, and waste streams were tested for their capacity to become inputs.
Hydroponics, biodiesel, and composting were all explored on site. Some systems worked; some were deliberately retired. The logs remain part of the archive.
Forge is a reminder that a permanent culture is built through maintenance, failure, and repair—not a finished render.
